A Rekortan PUR track from Polytan paves the way to the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest

Ratingen Stadium is a venue for international, school and club competitions. It is home to the TV Ratingen sports club which was established in 1865.

The stadium is home to the prestigious Stadtwerke Ratingen track meet, which is part of the World Athletics Combined Events Tour, and features some of the best all-round athletes from Germany and the world.

World Athletics Championship Qualifier upgrade: Rekortan PUR

The stadium was selected as a qualifying venue for the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest.

The track was to be upgraded by Polytan with a Rekortan PUR track system. This system is fast and provides excellent force reduction which helps the athletes prepare with less fatigue, before they head off to run on a hard track at the World Champs.

The Rekortan PUR series is trusted by major events around the world, such as the Penn Relays (USA), the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta, and the Diamond League (Qatar).
