Red hot track for Puerto Rico’s flagship athletic facility

The Inter American University of Porto Rico (or Inter to its friends) is a private University founded in 1912 and now spans nine campuses with a vibrant athletics programme. Known as the Tigers and Tigresses, their Athletic team won the Athletics Competitions of the Interuniversity Athletic Leage (LAI) for the second year in a row in 2024.

University participation to Olympic greatness

Their sports program mission is aimed at achieving the greatest participation of any university community and they have produced alumni like the Dominican sprinter Luguelín Miguel Santos Aquino who took silver in the 400m at the London 2012 Olympics.
